Chris Wakeman

Chris has been involved with BESA as an executive member since its inception in 2004 and was the chair of the association for the year 2008 - 2009. Currently employed as a 'curriculum development manager' at Staffordshire University, Chris has research interests in 'emotional intelligence' and 'blended approaches to learning'. Formerly the subject leader for 'Education Studies' at the University of Wolverhampton, Chris was recently a member of the review team that was set up by the Quality and Assurance Agency (QAA) to revise and update the Education Studies benchmark statements.
